(A) the Ensembl dataset with randomly selected transcripts; (B) the Ensembl dataset with transcripts that have a pure 5'UTR; (C) the UTRdb dataset with randomly selected transcripts; (D) the RefSeq-CAGE dataset with randomly selected transcripts. Note that the start sites of all of the 5'UTRs in dataset (D) must be supported by the CAGE experiments [18–20]. Also note that the numbers of cell types are 169, 159, and 64, respectively, for human, mouse, and fruit fly [16].
