A total of 83 adult patients aged 18 years and older who were diagnosed with sepsis according to the Sepsis-3 definition and admitted to the ICU were prospectively examined from December 2017 to August 2019. Patients were divided into two groups: those aged 75 years and older (over 75 group) and those aged younger than 75 years (under 75 group)
