Alternate predicted secondary structures for the EBER2-L2 RNA are illustrated. Labeling as in (a). Both structures differ minimally in their free energy (ΔG = 3.1 kJ). c. Northern blot analysis of transfected HEK293 cells confirming the expression of both EBER2 constructs at comparable levels.
