  1. SH-SY5Y cells were transfected with plasmids containing green fluorescent protein (GFP), HCR-NTPase or E114A-HCR-NTPase. The percentage of total cells normalised to 100 for cells only treated with GFP (control) as microscopically judged by green fluorescence are given with and without adding the caspase inhibitor Z-VAD-FMK. In parenthesis the standard deviations are stated. Three experiments were performed independently.
