Conserved amino acid sequence motif (block) organization in different groups of amino DNA methyltransferases. Amino acid motifs in shaded blue (motifs X, I, II, III) contain the AdoMet-binding region, and the motifs in shaded green harbour the catalytic region (motifs IV - VIII).
