1H-NMR of Sandostatin® LAR®, formulation A and formulation B.Upper spectrum: Sandostatin LAR, molar ratio actide 55, glycolide 45. Middle spectrum: formulation A, molar ratio lactide 73, glycolide 27. Lower spectrum: formulation B, molar ratio lactide 50, glycolide 50. Signals at 5.2 ppm indicate the single methine proton of the lactide monomer. Signals at 4.8 ppm are assigned to the two methylene protons of the glycolide monomer. Signals at lower shifts than 4.5 ppm indicate mannitol (mannitol-OH and -CH/CH2).
