(B) and (C) show similar radial stripes of β-gal-positive (blue) and β-gal-negative (unstained) cells. (D-F) Sections of livers from (D) XLacZTg/Tg positive control (100% β-gal-positive), (E) a WT X-inactivation mosaic and (F) a FlnaDilp2/+ X-inactivation mosaic. (E) and (F) show similar randomly orientated patches of β-gal-positive (blue) and β-gal-negative (pink) cells.
