Southern analysis of T-DNA integration in the transgenic plants. Genomic DNA was digested with either HindIII (Figure 4A) or KpnI (Figure 4B). The membrane that contains HindIII digested DNA was probed with DNA fragments for HAL2 gene located in the center of T-DNA (Figure 4A) and the other membrane that contains the KpnI digested DNA was probed with the DNA fragment for GUS gene located close to the RB (Figure 4B).
