LD plots were prepared for subjects with emphysema (left) and control smokers (right); D' _values that correspond to SNP pairs are expressed as percentages and shown within the respective squares. Higher D' values are indicated with a brighter red color. These seven SNPs constitute a haplotype block that spans 24 kb of the TLR4 gene.
