Determination of optimal number of reference genes by geNormPLUS. Pairwise variation (V) analyses were performed to determine the optimum number of reference genes for normalization. V2/3 is the pairwise variation between the 2 most stable genes and the 3 most stable genes. V3/4 compares the 3 most stable genes with the 4 most stable genes, etc. The green line indicates the variation cut-off (V = 0.15) below which additional genes are not required for adequate normalization.
