The branches contributing to the blood supply of the rotator cuff tendons are as follow: 1. Suprascapular artery (vascularizes the infraspinatus and teres minor tendons); 2. Circumflex anterior humeral artery (vascularizes subscapularis tendon); 3. Circumflex posterior humeral artery (vascularizes infraspinatus and teres minor tendons); 4. Thoracoacromial artery (vascularizes supraspinatus tendon); 5. Subscapular artery (minimal contribution to vascularization of the anterior part of the rotator cuff tendons).Back to article page
