  1. aAntibiograms were carried out as described by the CLSI for the following antimicrobial drugs: cefoxitin (CEF), ciprofloxin (CIP), clindamycin (CLI), chloramphenicol (CHL), erythromycin (ERY), gentamicin (GEN), penicillin G (PEN), rifampicin (RIF), sulfamethoxazole-trimethoprim (TMP), teicoplanin (TEC) and tetracycline (TET). All isolates were susceptible to vancomycin (VAN) when MIC was determined.
  2. bR: resistant and S: susceptible.
  3. cS.aureus: Staphylococcus aureus ssp. aureus.
  4. dS. conhii-urea: S. conhii ssp. urealyticus.
