Effects of GTPs treatment on ROS production in rat aorta and BAECs. The ROS level in rat aorta was detected by DHE fluorescent probe. As shown in A, the fluorescent image of aorta slices were visualized with fluorescence microscope (×200). The fluorescence intensities were measured with IPP image software in randomly selected areas of images captured. The result is shown in B. (n = 6, *P < 0.05 vs. control; #P < 0.05 vs. HF). C, shows the ROS level in BAECs, the ROS level in BAECs were detected by DCFH-DA fluorescent probe and quantified with spectrometry (excitation at 488 nm and emission at 525 nm).
