Subtoxic levels of oxidative stress promote BDNF induction. (A, B) Differentiated PC12 cells were stimulated with indicated concentrations of H2O2 for 15 h. Total RNA was then extracted from the cells and the gene expression of BDNF (A) or PGRN (B) was evaluated by quantitative PCR analysis. Data shown represent mean ± SEM, tested using one-way ANOVA with Tukey’s post-test (*p <0.05, n = 5–14).
