E2 has no effect on subcellular localization of MIER1α. MCF7 cells were transfected with myc-tagged mier1α and 24 h later, either vehicle (panels ad) or 10−8M E2 (panels el) was added. Cells were fixed 4 h later and localization was analyzed by confocal microscopy, as in Fig. 1.
