Typhimurium strain UK-1 (DT1) genome is used as a reference and its three associated prophages (Gifsy-1, Gifsy-2 and ST64B) and the phage remnant are also included in the alignment. The draft genome of both DT8 and DT30 variants harbours Gifsy-2, ST64B and phage remnant but lacks Gifsy-1 phage
