Complete genome alignment of different S. Typhimurium phage types generated using BRIG [44]. S. Enteritidis strain Durban genome is used as a reference and its associated prophage RE-2010 is also included in the alignment. The draft genome of both DT8 and DT30 variants harbours RE-2010 prophage which is absent from other S. Typhimurium strains including S. Typhimurium strains UK-1 (DT1). A closely related phage to RE-2010, Fels-2, is present in S. Typhimurium LT2 (DT4) and SL1344 (DT44)
