In the elevated plus maze test (EPMT), no differences were detected in the total numbers of entries and numbers of entries into open arms or closed arms (a) in the buserelin-treated rats (B) compared with controls (C). Neither did the time spent in closed arms, open arms or in the center of the platform differ between the two groups (b). C = 8 rats and B = 11 rats. Results are presented as individual values and medians (a) or as medians (b) and were analyzed by the Mann–Whitney U-test
