  1. Illustrated in Table 1 above are employment status, educational status and the monthly income levels of parents/caregivers. The majority of parents/caregivers had a College/University education level. Those that neither reached Grade 12 nor went to school accounted to 48% of the population. Only 52% of the parents/caregivers had obtained a college/university education. The results of the present study revealed that the majority (40%) of the parents/caregivers were unemployed and having no income at all during the time of data collection. A total of 36% had to care for their child with cerebral palsy while having a full time job
