The expression level of pro-inflammatory cytokines in hAECs. hAECs were cultured in the presence or absence of LPS for 6 h. LPS effects on the expression of IL-1β and IL-6 cytokines in hAECs were evaluated by real-time PCR assay. Data are representative of ten independent experiments. All data show mean ± SE. NS indicates that the difference in the expression levels is not statistically significant
