Effect of Lactobacillus strains PC1, PC2 and LA on PE particle induced TNF-α (a) and IL-10 (b) from macrophages. Macrophages were stimulated with PE particles for 4 h prior to the addition of different strains of lactobacilli at three doses (10, 1 or 0.1 bacteria per macrophage) followed by a further 12 h incubation.
