Real-time RT-PCR demonstrating tissue-specific expression of murine ghrelin transcripts with an extended exon 1. Relative expression of extended exon 1 of Ghrl in a wide range of mouse tissues (TissueScan Mouse Normal Tissue qPCR array). Calculations of Ghrl expression levels were performed using the standard curve method (correlating the threshold cycle number (CT values) and copy numbers of Ghrl) and normalised to the expression of Gapdh.
