Toy example on a GWAS with four subjects and five SNPs (from Fig. 3) depicting the Chi8 algorithm. Threads 1 through 4 each simultaneously consider the combination of SNPs in columns 1 through 4 with column 0 that is the reference. The thread pointers then incrementally increase by five (the number of columns) to the following row to complete the contingency tables. Note that LDwidth is set to 0 in this example
