From: Altered cytokine expression in Helicobacter pylori infected patients with bleeding duodenal ulcer
Expression of IL-1β, IL-6, IL-10, TNF, TGF-β i IL-17A mRNAs in gastric mucosa of H. pylori-positive patients (HbP+) and the ones without H. pylori infection (HbPØ) were quantified by real-time PCR. The relative expression of each target gene is presented in arbitrary units after normalization with GAPDH mRNA expression (see Materials and methods). Data are presented in the box-plot format in which cross line represents median, rectangle represents interquartile range, whiskers represents maximal and minimal values in 1.5 interquartile range, whereas outlier and extreme values are represented by circles and stars respectively, ✶✶p < 0.01
